Do you remember the moment you became a teenager? These are the days of your life that move the fastest. You are getting older, you are finding yourself, and you are misunderstood. Let me not forget how fast your brain is going. This is the stage between your childhood and adulthood. Your body is changing, your thoughts are changing, and you are neither young nor old.

At this stage, some are belonging while others feel the most alone. High school, oh gosh. This is the time when others shine more than others depending on where you find yourself. You are missing every moment and you are the moment. Before you know it high school is over and you need to figure out what your life is going to be about. Are you going to university/college, taking a gap year, starting a business, or left with no hope or prospects? Just when you think you have left

As a young person in high school, I wish someone had told me I don’t need to have everything figured out. I wish someone had told me to cherish every moment because these are the days when I am young and free, and the biggest responsibility I have is me. I wish someone had told me friendships change as you start getting older. I wish someone had told me that what I want to study at 18 may not be my passion at 28.

While in university I wish someone had told me how different life becomes once you leave. That responsibility changes once you are officially an adult.

That being said, while you are young and free, I believe some parts of your life need to stay intact because at some point you do become a young adult. The following I feel will help you enjoy your young days with purpose:
-Friendships
-Productivity
-Future thinking
-Mental awareness talks

To me, the above is what you need to have a bird's eye view on. You want to enjoy being young and free knowing you want to be an adult with direction. I was young and free once, and through this site, I may be able to help you feel less stressed. This space is for you if you are still in school trying to understand life. Hopefully my life experiences will interest you and give you confidence.
